SALARY: $$19.55 salary per hour plus 11% in lieu of benefits
HOURS OF WORK: As required to meet operational requirements, including evenings and weekends

SUMMARY:
The Community Recreation team is looking for an experienced, creative, and energetic instructor to teach a various gymnastic programs to pre-school & school age participants starting this November. Instructors are responsible for direct instruction and delivery of organized and fun classes designed to keep beginner to intermediate level participants interested and active. Community Recreation Program instructors are responsible for providing quality recreation programs for residents of the West Shore. The Program Instructor is responsible for program planning and development, organization and lesson plan creation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in providing gymnastics instruction, guidance and encouragement as well as the ability to foster an environment that encourages participation. Experience with planning and lesson plan creation. Communication and organizational skills required. Proven experience in public relations and in dealing with situations in a positive, courteous and effective manner. Demonstrated ability to work co-operatively in a team environment as well as to work independently. Current Emergency First Aid and CPR C are required.
